Linguine with Clam Sauce

Ingredients:
3 med. Cloves garlic
1 large onion
¼ cup butter
¼ cup olive oil
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 cup minced fresh parsley
½ cup dry white wine
2 cans (6 ½ oz.) chopped clams with juice
6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
Salt and & pepper to taste
1 LB linguine cooked and drained
Grated Italian cheese
 
In a large skillet sauté onion & garlic in butter and Oil until tender. Stir in parsley, oregano,wine, clams with juice, & mushrooms. Simmer uncovered. Serve over hot linguine
